Bullied as a child, he decided enough was enough and turned to boxing

Being taught by his father, he didn't feel that he was progressing enough so he found a gym

After discovering that his coach didn't really care about him, he thought he'd have to quit but then he saw an advert on TV looking for the best youth amateur boxers in the Shiganshina area, all he had to do was win 5 of 7 sparring matches at "Ackerman Boxing Gym" to be accepted

After an eventful amateur career, he decides to move up into the pro's to try and replicate what his favourite coach and fighter, Levi "Mr Clean" Ackerman did before retiring due to an injury sustained in his last bout
