Humankind has abandoned Earth, leaving behind the devastation of all-out nuclear war and Mutants. 
The Mutants have a purpose: to preserve humanity and restore the Earth to its former glory. After a century of rest, they will wake, rebuild, and await the return of humankind--that is, if they survive the perils of space, but this is not their story.
This is the story of a Mutant that wakes up fifty-three years too early, setting foot onto a feral Earth with still-festering wounds from the war. They remember nothing, and know only what the inked tattoo on their wrist reads:
