Helena Adams and her mom, Heather, have been 'running away' for years, moving from place to place. Helena never knew what or who they were running from until her mom pops the surprise on her at 1:45 in the morning. After barely surviving a nearly thirty hour road trip, Helena finds out that her mother left her with her friend Austin, who claims to be a vampire along with other people of Skylor, her new home. What's more surprising is that Helena's a vampire also, turned over at birth by an unknown man. Helena and her new vamp-friends are now trying to track down her creator and destroy him...but what if destroying him means destroying her own heart?
