SUMMER HUDSON, daughter of Natalie - a bakery owner - and step daughter of Thomas Hudson, a once famous rockstar in his youth. Summer's life has always been the best as far as she could remember. Her mom and stepdad that she considered a father had tried their absolute best to make sure she didn't have a confusing life growing up. They shielded her from the harsh reality of her real father being sent to prison for almost murdering her step father, and from the fame and reporters that followed at every turn.

Now, at twenty six, she still wonders if she'll ever find a love like her mother's, or be doomed to heartbreak time and time again with guys who only want her for her last name and who she's connected to.

RYAN HARRIS, is an upcoming actor in the horror film industry. He's had a few ups and downs, trying to stock up enough money to hire a lawyer for full custody of his son from his ex - wife. He's tired of fighting the same old fight, so he's working hours upon hours in order to make a name for himself so that he can get his six year old son out of the clutches of his money sucking, mother.

What he didn't expect was to meet the step daughter of the rich patron who decided to fund the next movie he would be starring in. Nor did he expect the brilliant, vibrant young woman to have a quirky side and a humble heart.
