What are comrades who run on code? What makes an artificial creation designed to fight alive? Taking place before the events of 'R. A. T. H', this is a short story that focuses on the character Shana Striker with a brief glimpse into her past as a Captain within Alos's army.

It is best read after having read up to at least the end of chapter 23 of the main story, though chapter 30 is more preferable. Yet, this short may also stand alone on its own merits if you wish it to.
