She wasn't depressed, but she had snapped.

Her guitar was the thing that connected her to her best friend, Michael Clifford.
Charlie's in a bad place, being evicted from her ratty apartment in London and playing music on the streets for the little food she gets.
Michael just so happens to see an oportunity.
When One Direction's guitar player drops out of the tour, Michael calls Charlie.
Charlie gets a spot on a world tour with the world's biggest boyband, and with that comes an Irish little ball of happy who drives Charlie up a wall.
And when that wall shatters, even Charlie doesn't know what's going to happen to her.
