But by still remembering all the terrible things schlatt did to him, and himself, it sticks with him.

Quackity had done the impossible: conned Dream himself out of a Revive book after a bet with Glatt. Will he regret his drunken decision? "Quackity?" I spin around, tackling him and tumbling roughly into the wall behind us. I pin his wrist down, tears dropping onto his soon-to-be crimson shirt. I dip down, sensing the tension hovering between us, feeling his heart hammer against his ribcage. From where sit straddling his waist, I see his face soften at the sight of my dishevelment. "What are you so afraid of?" he whispers gently. * * * Synopsis: Behind closed doors, a casino isn't all glittering lights and card games. It's made of traitors and cheaters... Quackity has always stood in other's shadows, cast out from countries, betrayed by those whom he loved, and laughed at by those whom he thought he could trust.
