Different stories, different fates, different lessons. This is a collection of my short stories and one-shots that introduce you to different perspectives and aim to share valuable messages about love and life. - Sometimes, we just need a story that allows us to feel the things that make us human. That vulnerability, the warmth...I hope you could feel them through my pieces. May the words from these stories reach and embrace the depths of you. Like a hug from someone you just need to feel alive again, the kind that gives you the strength to try and face everything once more. Note that: Some of the stories you'll find here were written a few years ago (around 2020-2022), some previously, and all are compiled here. They are not sorted by date or in any particular order (except for those with several parts), so I can't say the ones on the first pages were the first ones I wrote. For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it.
