"Jesus?.." I asked, staring up at the figure who loomed above, who only came out as a silhouetted figure in front of the blazing sun, sort of hoping it was Jesus and that he was taking me away and that I had died of embarrassment.
The figure chuckled, an familiar sound, and I immediately knew that it wasn't Jesus.
"I'm not Jesus, Love." They said, their voice sounding so oddly familiar it made my stomach tingle, but my mind was unable to place a finger on who it was. Maybe I hit my head too hard.
"So i'm not dead?" I asked, my eyes squinting slightly as the sun pierced into them, even from behind this mysterious person.
"I would hope not, I don't really like ghosts." I could hear the amusement in his voice.

Her Dad becomes driven by an urge to move across seas to a new life in Queens. Shocked by the frantic decision, Y/n is left feeling confused. A flash of red and blue past the car as they arrived was all it needed to get Y/n entranced in her new life, where everything is upside-down and opposite. HONEST OPINION: Chapters 1 and 2 are more like prologues, if you just want Peter action skip to there, but I'd advise against it for the sake of the plot. EDIT: I wrote this when I was 15/16, I was very young, very unaware of what a Mary Sue character was, and very single. I am now 18, in a relationship, and very embarrassed. I walk after him, reaching my hand out for his arm as he jerks it away from my touch. "No, I want to carry it to your room. It's heavy and it hurts your shoulder." He cupped his hands around his mouth for just a moment before he called, "Very!" I whisper my eyes drooping shut, suddenly exhausted, all the struggle, the pain. He lets out a cry holding onto my upper half. "I'll be okay... we'll be okay." I cough harshly a copper taste filling my mouth. "Don't leave me. God please I need you," I smile at him with the most love I could conjure, I pet his bloody cheek and lean up as far as I could manage kissing him. Why couldn't I do my job. I didn't and now I'm here with three holes in my stomach, staring at the man I love as I crush his soul. "I love you, my Peter Parker." I almost whimper out in a pained wheeze.
