A group of ordinary people find out they are anything but, now they must learn to adapt to their new lives away from the world they grew up in. They never felt they truly belonged in their old life, but can they find a place in this fresh one? 

The news spoke of people like them, half-breeds, hybrids. A type of being never heard of or seen, except in the books they read as children. Instantly fairy-tales are put to sleep as myth becomes legend and legend becomes truth. When they are told they can do things far beyond imagination and possess powers unfathomable by man.

Everything is different now, all they ever knew is behind them. Now they go to a place unknown, full of people like them. They know nothing of this world or its nature, and now they come inexperienced and unaware, placed at the bottom of the food chain, deemed the weakest of their kind. But are they?

But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.

It isn't until her cat dies and after picking him up, becomes alive again when she realizes why her mother has locked her away for all these years. She discovers she has the gift of healing. When she confronts her mother about it, her mother reveals to her that they are not human but in fact, Goddesses trapped inside human vessels to protect Kore from the Gods who want to marry her. But things only get worse when one day, as Kore is picking flowers in the meadow, there is an earthquake and she is taken up by this earthquake and falls into the arms of none other than Hades. A modern re-imagining of the story of Persephone.
