I didn't know what to do. I had no where to go. I looked around me, but saw nothing but snow and ice. I was trapped. I looked ahead of me and faced my fate. I had to fight him. The love my life, the one man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He looked at me with such dark, evil eyes. They were uncaring, hateful, and looked like they desperately wanted me dead. This man, the one who I was supposed to be with for the rest of my life, was now trying to cease my existence. "Why...?" I croaked, looking at him. This wasn't like me! Snap out of it, Veronica. This isn't you. Your always calm. Your always cool. You always had control of the situation. But then I realized something.
I had no control of this situation what so ever. I was going to die.

It's an animal instinct. It's natural. Humans only suppress it because they think it's rude. It isn't." He didn't say it like he was bragging but instead with a reassuring confidence about him. "It's actually extremely attracting when a female shows arousal outright." I was shocked; he described me like a lioness in heat. Almost as if my attraction to him was a sign saying 'come get me.' Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
