Nicholas Pierce has been handling high school like any anxiety-ridden teenager would, he's got one more year to survive and he'll finally be free from the ties of being a teenager. That is until he finds to he's got a mild bipolar disorder. As he feels his life slip out of his hands, he's just had a panic attack behind the football concessions stand. When Milo Dean, hottest guy at Brymore High, notices this he's first to help Nick out of his darkness. For once in Nicholas's life he feels warmth as Milo's touch seems to snap him out of his manic phase. The one thing Nicholas can't deny, is that he may have just fallen in love.
