School was in session. Ray was a quiet, smart boy who only ever wanted to stick his nose in a book. Emma was an outgoing, cheerful kid who wanted to play all day and night. They were best friends.
Someone new had came to school. He had silky white hair and pale skin that went well with his hair. He easily became popular and Ray didn't like him. Though the boy, besides Emma, was the only one who really noticed him. The kid wanted to befriend the quiet boy, and he just wanted to read and for everyone to go away.
