Alexander Hamilton is broken. He's the new kid with a tragic past and a strange look at a school where everyone knows everyone, and he's the latest in a long line of targets for... well, everyone. He wants to hate people so much that he doesn't want to meet his soulmate. Ever. 

John Laurens is broken. But no one knows it. On the outside he looks fine: just your average hippie, always smiling, always toting around a ukulele that he plays in the halls for anyone who frowns. But what they don't know is worse than anything they've ever experienced. 

In a world where everyone has soulmates, what happens when two very different boys connect in a way that no one would expect?
