My legs began to quiver, knees aching as I crawled on the wood.
I finally lined up with his shadowy body, my head dangling low to the floor. I was afraid that any fast move I made would leave me trapped here for longer than I had expected. His fingertips slipped under my jaw and swiftly raised my chin.
" Why the long face?"
As I aligned myself with his inner thighs, my eyes shook. Since he always said these things with such faith and ease, his attitude immediately made me feel more determined.
