This is a Shrek x reader fanfiction, just like the title says, this is also my first faniction. Y/n is a teenage girl and she has just finished 8th grade. Shrek used to be a rich business man but after Lord Farquaad stole his wife(literally) his business went crashing down. What's going to happen to y/n after she meets Shrek? A lot man. But what type of stuff will excactly happen to her? I can't tell you everything but some fun stuff and stuff that's even more fun.
A/n: Changing some things cause I didn't really like them. The plot and stuff will stay the same, it's a few very minor changes.

We all have those weird dreams where we fight dragons, dream of a 'happily ever after'...or in my cousin Alice's case; make friends with a unicorn that literally poops edible rainbow candy. Alice and I, along with our friend Zero, help my aunt and uncle clear out their basement during spring break while they went away for their wedding anniversary. It all started when I ever so gracefully (but accidentally) tripped over a cupboard box (which in my defence, I never knew was there) with the words: 'Fragile - DO NOT TOUCH', written in black marker all over the box. While Alice and I were arguing, Zero tried to grab our attention. When he finally did, we were surprised to see him being sucked into a freakin' green swirling portal! Turns out, inside the box I tripped over had a crystal ball rolled out of it, and glowed a bright green. That was when we realised that that crystal ball, was the reason why a portal appeared and was trying to pull us in. And of course...I got separated from them, didn't I?
