A Road Worth Walking (Human male x Pokemon male)

Zack, a 17 year old teenager, is an ordinary teenager... on the surface. He's a friend to a boy his age named Hop and his brother; Leon, the champion of the Galar region. Oddly enough however, he has no interest in pokemon battles, nor much of anything else really. But when both he and Hop get a pokemon each, Zack is asked to be Hop's rival by Leon. Agreeing, Hop sets off to conquer the Gym challenges with Zack begrudgingly in tow. But legends are often forged through hardships, Heroism brought forth by peril, and people change. Maybe the journey will help Zack become a better person? Maybe even a champion...
