Marinette had moved on from Paris. Travelling and taking out crime bosses and villains wherever she went until she found herself in Gotham. Crossing paths with a certain red hooded man who seemed to share her desire to stop bad guys permanently. They're a dangerously effective pair, to the point that the Bat has to intervene. Not that either of them have any plans to change their methods.
