"Konoha's founding history is a lie." Neji stared at his father as if he'd lost his mind. "Or atleast tampered with," One of the very few surviving memories Neji had of his father was a conversation.

Vague. Almost fading in his mind.

"I don't understand.."

His father smiled, the Byakugan staring past the young Hyuga. To something else that couldn't be seen.

"We have been entrusted with the truth. My son, you are my legacy and this duty shall be yours as well. When the time comes."

"I can't have you." Neji closed his eyes, those all seeing eyes that had become blind in love. "I can't even dare to dream of you."

She was already crying and smiling despite it. "I can't love you, doing that would be my undoing."

Akina Uchiha, the little sister of Itachi Uchiha, was known for her open and cheerful nature. There was hardly anyone in the Uchiha clan who behaved like that and that's why everyone liked this little girl. But one thing was hidden from the whole clan and from the Hokagen. Akina had awakened her Sharingan already as a small child although such a thing was hardly possible. Because of her fear that something could happen, her father decided to keep it a secret and train her. When the Uchiha entered the academy, she had to learn to get along with other children who did not belong to her clan. Besides her abilities, there was one more in the class who could be her equal. Neji Hyuga who was already a professional at his young age. His little cousin had to be about the age of Sasuke who would soon be big enough to go to the academy. Even though Akina had heard many things about the Hyuga clan, she did not want Neji to hate the main family. In the beginning he was a nice boy who smiled from time to time. But one day he changed completely and didn't even want to have anything to do with Akina. Although Akina could put a smile on everyone's face, it became more and more difficult for the Hyuga. He closed himself off more and more and would soon make a mistake if no one stopped him at the Chunin exam. After years, not even her best friends knew that she had her Mangekyou Sharingan for the longest time. Only when they became a team again did they learn what had really happened that day. She never lost her smile and her joy. However, her manner crumbled now and then, which Akina quickly regained. Always sworn never to use her Mangekyou Sharingan, the Fourth World War made her use it. Will Akina lose her sight after all, or were her eyes different from what she thought? Oc Creator: annypikanny (Instagram)

Is it because we are afraid to break the loop? Is it because we were familiar with each other's touch? Is it because we drowned ourselves in the name of love? Or perhaps, we despise seeing one another beaming in the arms of the strangers we refuse to know? Perhaps it's the memories that keep us bounded. It makes us refined. It makes us selfish. It's because we love, strive, and made us kill the rational part of ourselves because we are in love. "I love you, Hina." He murmurs while moving his body from slow to brisk that he almost lost his mind. His tears, the realizations, and his love for her failed to vanish. It never dies and will never not even once. "I didn't get to have my dad." Sarada said angrily. "My dad missed out on all of my childhood. Your dad is there, and every attempt he makes to be with you...you just ignore him!" "Your dad left because he didn't have a choice! He-" "No, he did! He had the choice to leave. He knew that there was a mission, but it didn't have to be him to take it. But he chose not to, he left me and my mother alone. Now that he's home, I welcome him back into my life, but you? You're dad is trying, just like mine, but you choose to leave him dangling. Do you want a father at all?!" I threw another stick into the fire. The small embers float into the sky to join the now bright stars. When you squint, you can hardly tell the difference between the sparks and the stars themselves. "I'm 14, and yet I still...I still act like a child." "You could say that again." "It should be right here." Neji muttered as he dug through the books. If we had this scroll, we could finally go home. My dad would be back to normal, my mom would finally wake up, we could all go back to the way things were. But then, I heard something that stole the breath from my lungs. A scraping noise that scratched against the cold stone. I felt the hair on the back of my neck rise, and I froze right where I stood, unable to breathe. Whoever was there, they were right behind me. "Well..." I heard someone say, their voice like dripping ice. The scraping drawing nearer and nearer. "It took you long enough." Boruto, Sarada, Inojin, and Shikadai stumble upon a mysterious scroll which throws them into an unfamiliar timeline. When their concerned parents use the scroll to join their children in the past, they experience unexpected symptoms. All of the original generation have begun to re-experience all of their past wounds, taking their tolls all at once. Now with a deadline, the new generation of shinobi, have to find a solution to the current crisis before the future becomes permanently changed.

"Aren't they all just perfect?", she asked, cradling a chubby bundle of warmth in her arms. Standing in front of her, he hummed and placed a hand over hers. She raised her blind gaze to meet his, leaning into his touch as he cupped her face. She burst into tears, prompting him to carefully take her into his arms in a soothing cuddle. Three years on the road and in the arms of someone who cared really changed the way they looked at things. She wondered if she made the right choice by leaving her clans, by leaving the village. With mixed blood like hers, she was a walking target, waiting to be shot down. It wasn't everyday that the Uzumaki and Uchiha mingled. He wondered if they could still have this joy if they went back. And he wanted to have her forever. They both were content with how life had gotten. Their passion was a raging flame within their hearts, but the world around them was a challenge even bigger than what they had going.
