We think of our future, we plan for our future but do we ever glance carefully at our past. Not the past that we witnessed, the past which occurred many years ago before we were born. Have anyone ever thought that the incidents which occur today if those happened in that era how would the people tackle them? We read about Indian history, sometimes those seem to be boring but we can never deny that India had a glorious past. Starting from the planning of a city to how systematically everyone lived people of that period had an aesthetic life. STORY DESCRIPTION : My story revolves around the past of India during the reign of the Maurya Dynasty. It starts with a murder mystery that ends up opening many unexplored paths. It shows how intelligent people of that era were, how mind-blowing architectural works were done, it provokes the reader to know more about our history and also makes us feel proud. This story is a work of fiction so the events which are written are just works of my imagination. The mystery and the curiosity to know how and what happens next keeps the readers engrossed. All the characters of the story have important roles. This story blends past with modern times making it more interesting to read how the characters reach the end without using modern technologies. I hope the story engages my readers and the thrill continues till the end. Word Count : 50,000+

He scoffed, muttering incoherent stuff under his breath Investigation Room 2 : "A man like him deserved to die. Evils like him deserve incidents worse than death." He shrugged without any trace of guilt. Investigation Room 3 : "I didn't really want to do it. It just kinda happened." She whispered, her eyes busy boring holes in the floor "I killed him!" All of them, amusingly, muttered the same thing, sitting rooms apart from each other. One murder, three suspects, three confessions with three versions of the truth. But the question is, who's really speaking the truth?
