Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Names and characters (except the main character) are taken from JK Rowling's work. I don't own any of them. Nevertheless, the story is my invention. I don't agree with Rowling's homotransphobic views. DISCLAIMER: In this story: Narcissa and Bella are step-sisters and are not blood-related. The only challenges Harry had to face were stealing the Philosopher's Stone from Lord Voldemort and sending his ghost away in the Chamber of Secret. The Three Wizards Tournament didn't involve Barty Crouch Junior at all and everything went well, in fact Cedric didn't die in the last challenge. Sirius was at Azkaban until Harry went to Elementary school, then he was freed by Dumbledore and was sent home; he needed to prove to the Ministry of Magic he was capable of taking care of himself and only after six years he found out about his Godson. Harry has been living at Grimmauld Place with Sirius ever since he went to Hogwarts. Lord Voldemort hasn't risen completely yet. Luna, Ginny and Astoria are all in the same year. Remus works at the Ministry of Magic and comes to visit Sirius once in a while. Olivia, the main character, grew up half with Bellatrix and half with Sirius, but only in the present time he could win the battle with Bellatrix and send Olivia to Hogwarts.
