Brooklyn Matthews, a half-blood Hufflepuff, became friends with the Slytherin Prince himself during their first year. Fourth year is just around the corner; something new and exciting is about to begin. Will this platonic relationship turn into a romantic one or are they in way over their heads? If not romantic, will they continue to be friends? This fanfiction takes place during the Goblet of Fire and continues through the rest of the Harry Potter Series. Most of the characters are not mine, but are JKR's along with most of the story line. I credit her for those events and characters.

*BOOK ONE - TAKES PLACE DURING HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE* Veronica Dovefeather is a fourth year Gryffindor student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When she is not spending time with her best friends, Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley, and listening to the tales of their adventures with the famous Harry Potter, Veronica is entirely focused on her academics. Well, almost entirely. Unfortunately, a certain Slytherin boy keeps forcing his way into her thoughts, slowly ensuring that he is her biggest distraction. What happens when this feisty muggleborn Gryffindor falls for Draco Malfoy, Hogwarts' very own Slytherin Prince? What about when he realizes he's fallen for her, despite his racist upbringing? After being enemies for so long, can they learn to trust and depend on each other, forging an unbreakable friendship that goes against everything they've ever known? Will they take a chance on what could be love and follow their hearts, proving to everyone that their relationship can be the right kind of wrong? Or will outside forces and dangerous secrets drive them apart?
