[UNDER MAJOR EDITING]

'So, it's agreed then? If I help you with your financial problems, you'll pretend to be my girlfriend?' He asks skeptically.

I give out a loud dramatic sigh. 'Yes. How many times do I have to say it?'

He rolls his eyes and says with a cocky smile, 'as many times it will take you to mean it.'

I scuff in disgust. 'I, Grace Thompson, will never mean it.'

  'Never ever?'

  'Never ever.'

Grace Thompson has never had it all. She's lost her family in a car accident and a battle to blood cancer that wasn't won. She keeps her self from starving and going without a home working as a photographer. And all she has is an old beat up car, a lousy apartment, and a camera.

But, just when she thinks her life can't get any worse she gets a voice mail from her landlord telling her, her lease is up. Using her camera as a distraction she accidentally ends up snapping an 'unwanted' pic of William Reed. William being the only born son to James and Katherine Reed, the owners of: REED INCORPORATED, the largest, and one of the most known companies in the business industry.

By mistake, Will over hears that Grace needs money, and uses this as an advantage. This leads them to the agreement. The one that changed their lives.

COMPLETED ✔️(Editing Soon) "Marry me." I nearly spill my latte on the nicest dress I own. "Are you out of your mind?! We just met... plus I don't even like your face!" "It doesn't have to be real." I set my latte down and look at him. "No woman wants a fake marriage Mr. Mardell. Be less of a dumbass and find yourself a nice girl who'll kiss your ass even when you're ghosts." "Look, don't flatter yourself" he goes leaning back in his seat. "You just happen to fit the description I gave the press and my family. And I don't like your face either." I copy his move and lean back against my seat. "I'd rather slam my tongue in a car door, sir." The words hit him. "Good day... and good luck finding a brainless girl to marry you." I grab my purse and head towards the door. "$20,000 a week" he blurts out. I halt and whirl around. "What?" "I'll give you $20,000 every week for a month..." He walks out from behind his desk. "... if you agree to do this with me." $20,000 every week for an 'I do'? Which happens to be fake too? $80,000 in a month to play dress up for one of the youngest and richest CEO's in the world? "So what do you say?" His silky voice swims through my thoughts. "You wanna get hitched for some money? You know your family needs it." He just had to play the poor family card. "So do we have a deal? Or I should go on and keep making you lose your jobs before you even start?" He had a smirk on his face. God, I hate him! But that money could help us a whole lot. I glare at him and extend a hand towards him. "Deal." ✄--------------------------------------------------------- No one ever realizes the implications of messing around with the famous 'Always and Forever' promise until they're cornered with no escape... except the one through their own hell. Emma van der Bilt is clever, snarky, and spoiled rotten. William Knight is cocky, impatient, and slightly dimwitted. So how exactly did Will manage to kidnap Emma and her best friend twice and live to talk about it? *** "What the hell-" I screeched. "Good morning, sunshine." I looked up in alarm and saw the smirking face of my kidnapper. His face would have made me a lot angrier had it not been terribly swollen, thanks to yours truly. "I'd say good morning, but judging by the boner on your face, I'd say you weren't having such a good morning." His self-satisfied smirk fell almost instantly, and his partner-in-crime laughed out loud from the driver's seat. "Actually," he said, "I'm having a pretty good morning. My luck's about to change. You wanna know why?" I didn't answer. "I'll tell you why. I've successfully kidnapped the daughter of one of the richest men in the country." "Don't start counting your lucky stars just yet. This isn't over yet," I snapped. "Isn't it?" he asked, raising the eyebrow above his good eye. His other one remained in a permanent squint, and it made it kind of hard to take him seriously. "I'm not the one who's naked and tied up in a stranger's back seat." I glanced down at myself and noticed for the first time that I was in my bra and panties. Honestly, I was kind of relieved. When he'd said "naked," I'd assumed he meant birthday-suit naked, not half-naked. *** Warning: Rated PG-13 for sexual content and language. Mostly language. I have a colorful vocabulary.

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance.
