Reagan Marisa Adams is a rebellious, playful redhead by day. But by night? She becomes the hard shell of something that should no longer be breathing, cutting away at her edges until the day she will completely crumble. Her mother died seven years ago, and now her and her abusive father have moved to a new country. After countless amounts of failed attempts at suicide the young british girl decides to find help, enrolling herself in a recovery program. Her and 9 other teens are sent to a Ocelot refuge, where they will have to be responsible for taking care of the rescue cubs for a whole year. For a whole year she will be away from home around a bunch of strangers who are just as crazy as she is. During her stay she meets a boy named Tanner who is also waiting for the day he breathes his last breath, but they turn each others world upside down and the only thing they'd die for is each other. But can things really change this quickly? What will happen once this year adventure is over? Maybe if we were all color blind maybe if we saw everything in black and white, things wouldn't be so complicated.
