His friends formulate an escape plan and run into some strange and unexpected accomplices along the way. A few felonies and a couple missiles later, Zane and his friends are free of the barbaric walls of New Vancouver. As secrets are revealed and pasts are brought into the light, Zane begins to feel closer and closer to the people he calls his friends. But the orchestrator of the experiment is relentless and pursues them furiously wherever they deem to go. Zane questions the morality of his actions as he fights for what he believes is right and aims to avert total nuclear war. He is forced into the dangerous life of a biological weapon and is thrust into a situation where there is only one choice: face your past or claim your future. And Zane fears he'll choose wrong.
