Flick Quill has it rough. Living as a 17 year old struggling with a weird home life and depression, things aren't always so great. 
With her, through several years, has been Jane Walker and Sia Lane. Her two best friends she would really do anything  for. 
One night...things go south. And Flick is left bloody, crying, and scared.
Ever since then, a new girl at her school, Ash, has lit a new light for her.

"To be able to see life through different eyes, and write about it." For this, Mr Steve gets his class to assist a hospital 3 times a week, and assigns each student, with a patient. This is the moment where this boy meets Royal, a cancer sick 17 year old girl, that has lived in a hospital her hole life, but still finds beauty and meaning in it. Through out the report the boy gets more and more involved in Royal's life, spending unfortunately moments together. But through out the journey he asks himself more and more. Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.
