After finding out how demons stopped appearing, Muichiro Tokito and the other pillars (except for Shinobu, being replaced by the former sound pillar to train the demon slayers) had been assigned their positions, now commencing the hashira training. Once Tanjiro began training with Muichiro, things took a turn.
