Thomas and Tabitha Simmons are sixteen-year-old twins. After their mother's suicide six years ago, their father turned to drink and drugs, abusing his children to no end afterwards. One day, a knock on the door and the sound of police sirens change the twins' lives forever. Now in an orphanage, the twins battle through life's obstacles of pain and frustration. After being let down by foster homes and challenging feelings, the twins lose hope of ever being adopted. Especially at their age. Just as the twins start to slip through the fingers of life's pressures, a young adult by the name Phil Watson visits the orphanage and sees something special within the Simmons siblings.
