This is the explanation of the Au known as Omegaverse. There are many different versions of this so called Au, however this is the one I follow and use on the daily - So I thought I might as well add my version to the pile of other versions. I hope you enjoy!

Betas = 50% of the population, are normal people without pheromones and they can rarely smell them from Alphas and Omegas. Omegas = 15% of the population, are submissive, short, skinny but curvy, they can't be muscular - their body won't allow them, they go into heat once in a month, male omegas are rare, release pheromones which attract Alphas, they're getting marked by Alphas while in heat.Complete
