The Birds (Erik Menendez)

"The birds taunt me, it's so easy for them to fly over the tall metal fence that separates me from the world. I have to remind myself that not all birds have the chance to spread their wings and soar through the sky, they are trapped in a cage living confined much like myself.'' The letters he writes me are beautiful but they also bring me a great deal of sadness. He told me it wouldn't be easy to have a relationship with a prisoner and that i deserved someone who could give me more. I loved Erik before all of this and i will continue to love him.

Audrey Parker is a 17 year old living the California dream. Only her dream becomes a spiralling nightmare shortly after her boyfriend Erik Menendez kills his parents and starts trial.

This story is based off of the Menendez brothers case however my character and writing is fictitious and I've added my own things and changed some stuff. I'm writing this story to bring awareness to this case and help it gain traction. I truly believe they deserve to be free. This story is not meant to offend anyone.
