Caught up in his own mistakes, Kenzo realizes that the only person who actually mattered to him was the woman who never left his side. But just as he vows to make amends and put a stop to his betrayals, fate gave him a news he wouldn't want to hear: Yonah is terminally ill.
She chose to decline the treatments for her illness, believing that a few months of pure and unburdened happiness with Kenzo was worth more than a lifetime of suffering. She didn't want him to watch her wither away in a hospital bed; she wanted him to remember that she once lived the way she always talked about.
As the time counts down, Kenzo becomes a slave to the favors she had listed-the mundane errands, getting matching tattoos, going to an orphanage, and having a meal as a complete family.
