Everything in Talahai Province is normal except for one thing: sometimes, when a person makes a wish outloud, it comes true.

The wishing legend started around the time of Maria Anabe wherein people could borrow things from the said nymph goddess. But the moment she set sail in her golden ship, after she was betrayed by the Talahaians, she made a spell that is both a blessing and a curse for the people. On a random occasion, if someone wishes something out loud, it happens. Since that legend has not happened for five decades, people almost started to believe it wasn't real, until a 6th grade boy Hirumi Reiko wished that the next year would come tomorrow. Before this happened, Reiko's sister Miracle asked the boy she liked, Zephyr, if he likes her and wished outloud that he does. The next week, Zephyr started to court her. She believes that this was because of the wishing legend. Of course, no one believed her. But after everyone noticed Reiko's wish coming true, Miracle's assumption grew stronger.
