Eight was so lost.  Lost in a testing facility.  Lost memories.  Not to mention soon-to-be-lost-sanity if the crazy old squid sitting next to her kept on rapping.  Trapped in deep sea metro, she couldn't afford many more losses if she wanted to make it out alive.

     Becoming an Agent was never on Katsu's bucket list, until her best friend becomes missing in action.  Now her only hope find him is to take up the mantle and descend to the kettles ink blazing.

     Part time vigilante, Kia's ready to bring her message of inter species tolerance to the next level: Octo canyon.  However as not-so-friendly faces from the past start popping up creating a fresh start just got a lot harder for this octoling.All Rights Reserved

The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried. DISCLAIMER: I have not played the latest splatoon game yet, so NO SPOILERS PLZ. Everything here that relates to the game is pure speculation from the trailer. It's been nine months since escaping the Deepsea Metro, defeating tar-tar, and saving Inkoplois things seemed to have finally calmed down for the team. Agent 8 now free is now living his new life on the surface, working, going on missions, and his favorite thing getting to spend time with 3. 3 is enjoying spending time with 8, but after going on a research mission in the Deepsea Metro she notices 8 acting strange. She found him mumbling to himself, he's having nightmares, being more claggy to 3 than normal, and swears that she caught a flash of teal in his eye. It couldn't be that bad... till 8 goes missing. The team is on the case to find him but sometime into the search Inklings sharing some of 3's similarities are getting attacked and 3's apartment gets ransacked. It's clear 8 is after 3 and if he finds her, he's not letting her go.
