John becomes blind and is left on his own on an island with someone that could help him. At least that's what he was told.
Alexander hates visitors. Specifically because they're only there to kill him. But no one has succeeded because one look in his eyes and they're turned to stone. So he should have no problem dealing with the person knocking at his door. Right?

Cliche title, but I have a reason for it This AU is set in the late 90's-Early 2000's btw John has been blind all his life. He's gotten used to the near constant teasing, taunting and bullying for having to bring his service dog, Philip, everywhere.
