Of course, that's not nearly enough to deter him from his goal of getting to know the boy. After all, what kind of father dictates who his son can and can't hangout with? Something in his gut was telling him that Shuichi Saihara would be worth all of the consequences he'd face; that there was more to him than just being the principals son.
