For years, Azrael has been a cat. He wasn't always a cat, however. Once a human, Azrael must complete an assassination of the king to return to his human form. His cruel master, only known to him as "The Master" is the one who set this rule upon him. The Master's motives unknown, Azrael must follow his every command to get his human body back.
By Azrael's side are two of The Master's other mercenaries. There's Talia; Azrael's childhood friend, loyal worker for the Master, and powerful Demi-god. Then there's Rita; a violent and bloodthirsty witch who works only for pay, and to win Talia's heart.
Will Azrael be able to earn his human form back, and if he does, will he get his long deserved happily-ever-after?

Threads of Fate by LeeraIvy

The path fate lays before us is often many years in the making, and the tale of the Phoenix and the God-spawn is no different. Nearly 3,000 years before the war that would bring about Astaroth's defeat, another battle was waged to ensure there would be a future to fight for. Duty has been thrust upon Prince Azael Cadhael for centuries, first by filling the role of an uncrowned King, but his true story begins as all royal stories do: with a ball, a secret, and a peculiar dream. When Azael overhears the whispered plans of his betrothed and her twin brother to leave with the Phoenix on a goddess-given quest, he must surrender to a new type of duty entirely. Navigating his ever increasingly strained relationship with Tissaia Lochren while striving to save the future of his kingdom isn't a job easily done, and her closeness with the Phoenix, Kaius, certainly doesn't make it any easier. Tissaia has spent years in the shadows of her own failure and her father's wrath. Kaius's quest offers her and her brother Talarion a chance to claim their freedom at long last, but fighting ones' past can be just as deadly as fighting an armed foe, especially if that past isn't keen on backing down. If they're going to succeed, all four of them must learn to recognize the power in truth and bared secrets, as well as the strength in kinship. If they fail, it could mean the doom of all Asterria for an age. But if they succeed, perhaps fate will be kinder than they have been led to believe. Warning: This book, while being a work of fiction, still deals with real and mature elements. There will be chapters dealing with abuse, gore, PTSD, torture, sexual content, and other topics. 101 parts Ongoing Mature
In a world where immortals have grown complacent and demons rise with newfound strength, the prophecy of the Phoenix's return whispers across the land. The Demon King, Azgaroth, sealed away a thousand years ago by the sacrifice of the Phoenix, is awakening. The powerful magic that bound him is weakening, and only the reborn Phoenix can reinforce the seal and prevent his return. Ardara, a blind warrior raised by General Varek in the Kingdom of Tirathos, has always felt an inexplicable pull within her. Skilled in the art of combat and Chi'ra, a mystical energy, Ardara's journey begins when she learns the truth: she is the Phoenix reborn. As her powers awaken, so too does the threat of Azgaroth's release. Drawn to the Academy of the Ascendants, a sacred place for those with great potential, Ardara begins her training under Aresius, the God of War, who has descended to help humanity. Despite their divine differences, a bond grows between them-a love that transcends gods and mortals. But not all is as it seems. Seraphina, a rival at the academy, believes herself to be the true Phoenix, manipulated by the dark forces of Azgaroth. The immortals, once the protectors of the world, remain on the sidelines, leaving the human realm to battle the demons alone. As Ardara's destiny unfolds, she must confront the darkness within, face the trials of becoming the true Phoenix, and learn that the greatest power comes not from magic alone, but from the heart. The fate of Erethis rests in her hands-but will she be strong enough to face the ultimate sacrifice? Love, war, and destiny collide in this gripping fantasy, where ancient prophecies, betrayal, and the power of the Phoenix shape the future of the realm.
