Prologue Every dilemma has a tragic compromise. Some people are willing to give their lives to other person who really deserves it the most. Dakota and Devon are both fraternal twins. Many people thought they were girl twins but it turns out they are wrong. Dakota is a sixteen year-old girl who is the Queen B of the group and Devon is a sixteen year-old who is the leader of the Geeks. The twins were separated from birth because due to the fact that their parents were going to serve in Iraq and fight for United States. Dakota was raised in her maternal side of the family and her mom's brother is now raising her for sixteen years. Dakota is also raised in the wealthy side of the family meanwhile Devon is raised in an average kind of family. To Fit In

Let’s start by saying that I’m not the finest out of the bunch. I’m that rotten egg out of the perfect batch. I’m the odd one out. To fit in. To belong. To be compatible, similar or consistent. That isn’t what I am. I am the wrong puzzle piece that doesn't go in the right place. I'm a riddle. My story is not the happiest and I can’t guarantee a happy ending, but it’s safe to say that it’s not the worst. I mean, some people have it worse than me. Right? *** Meet Steph. Her life turns upside down, inside out and definitely changes. Throw in catastrophes, social issues and acceptance and you get a girl who's trying to fit in. The question is, is the change for the better or worse? *** Copyright © 2013 Nya Ahmed
