At the age of 10, Erista's home kingdom, Eledor, was attacked and taken over by new rulers. Since then, Erista has been on the run, evading the Dark Riders and the various kingdoms that are looking for her. The night Erista fled from her kingdom, her Mother informed her that she was an Empress, in a realm where magic is forbidden, and magical beings are hunted and killed.
