Due to a centuries old tradition, members of the royal family of the ender isles are only allowed to ascend the throne once they are married. Delia is not only of age to rule a kingdom but of age to marry. A war that occurred a few years back resulted in King Philza's death leaving Prince Techno to be crowned king. The new king won the war by raiding the palace of the ender isles however he spared the King's life in return for what was most important to him. The answer? His daughter.
