WW1 was a devastating time for all involved, both man and beast. Written in honour of the soldiers and horses who lost their lives in WW1, Bloodshed documents two stories, and how they are drawn together in a time of great suffering. The war was a place in which many lives were lost, both man and beast, and I aim to capture this pain, along with the feeling of comradeship, in my story. One Scottish lad, one Cornish farm horse, one devastating war, two separate lives, one incredible bond.
