When forces of opposing sides collide, not even the Heavens know how this will end.

When rainy dusk brings more than just water, two unlikely souls are brought together for an experience of their lifetimes.

Memories are perpetual. Unchanging. Ethereal. They are what forms a person. So when one's past is anything but good, what are they to do when the other is everything they wished to be but aren't.

But alas, like the sun, all things shall arise as past meets present.

"Shall we have this dance?" He stretched out his arm. "The world is spinning, why must we remain still."

-- PROLOGUE "Let me get this straight. We have nothing in between us, except for the deal we made that day" he spoke in a monotonous tone. "I am the one carrying your name behind me; we are married. how can you say we have nothing in between us? Huh" She yelled at him, tears blurred her vision, and she spoke her heart to him. "For god's sake, this marriage was to save you! Can't you get that? I did not do it willingly, I do not love you!!" He yelled back at her, shattering her heart into pieces. "Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --

"I don't love you," I declare, my voice steady but my resolve wavering. He smiled at me, though his expression was tinged with pain, tears pooling in the depths of his eyes. "I knew it, you still love me so much." I was rendered speechless by his declaration, my efforts to conceal my emotions proving futile as he effortlessly deciphered the truth written in my eyes. "Say it, just once, that you love me, my Sweetheart. Just once, please," he pleaded. I finally surrendered, tears misting my own eyes as all rational thoughts scattered, "I love you. I never stopped loving you." "And I love you infinitely more," he declared, leaning closer towards my lips. I placed a trembling hand over his mouth, halting him in his tracks, and shook my head slowly. "We can't. It's wrong. We can't betray our partners." *** Two hearts, torn apart by the cruel hand of fate, find themselves face to face after 4 long years. "He looked like her like he just realized what love is." 𖤓☽ "Can I..." I hesitated for a moment, but because it's the one thing I needed most, I pushed through, "will you just hold me for a minute." He didn't hesitate and tugged me against his chest. His arms wrapped tightly around me, and then I felt his breaths warming the top of my head. Slowly, I turned my cheek, and then I listened to his steady heartbeat. I shoved all my fear, my confusion, and my uncertain feelings for him aside and allowed myself to be weak. I closed my eyes, and grabbing hold of his sides, I fisted the fabric of his shirt. Before the tears come, I pulled away from him but he took one look at my face then yanked me back to him. Emotions whirled in my chest, and then a new one joined the chaos. Affection. It's as if he knows exactly what I need without me having to say a word. He pressed kisses against my hair, his voice an anchor that kept me from drowning as he murmured, "It's okay, love." Another kiss, and his arms clamped tightly around me. "You have me."
