Zara is enrolled in the most prestigious school in the city for her last year of high school. There, she learns that bullies and insecurities aren't just cliché problems main characters in stories face. And they are now a major part of her life.
Zara thought she had her life figured out. Great boyfriend, a few friends, and lots of cousins. What more could a girl want?
When her world is thrown upside down, she's forced to admit that the world isn't quite as safe as she once thought. But she believes her generation will be the one to fix these problems.
Our generation is the gamechanger. We just have to have the courage to stand up and be the change.

Scarlet just wants to be left alone and finish high school as she moved away from her home. It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Oh - and a whole new fake boyfriend, to get some revenge on that idiot who dumped her. And who knows. Maybe even more.
