“Most women died seventeen years ago when The Disease came. But I didn’t. I survived. And I’ll keep on surviving. No matter what it takes. No matter what I have to give up. I will live.”

Azula Saito is one of the last female werewolves left on earth after a deadly disease swept the forests seventeen years ago. Now, Azula and her father survive by travelling the forests, never staying in the same place long for fear of discovery. They’d heard the rumours of what happened to the few remaining women when caught by the packs...

Everything had been going fine...until Azula met Amias Phelps. Now her whole world’s turned upside she faces betrayal, pain and the most important battle of her life. Azula and Amias will embark on a journey that there is no turning back from.

Don't let this admittedly terrible blurb put you off. I swear it's not as bad as it sounds... o.O

"What are you?" He asks me, breaking the silence. I am quite shocked by this question. Mostly because I don't even know how to answer it. "Werewolf. I think... And you are a vampire," I state. He nods. "You don't smell like a werewolf." He lifts his hand to my neck, moving my hair aside, and looks at the bite mark on my shoulder. "And you don't taste like one." I breathe superficially, scared of what he might do next. "I would be lying if I said I didn't want to taste you again." He says, leaving his mouth slightly open. I just stare at him with wide scared eyes. He looks up from my wound and wink at me, causing him to smile a bit and show a fang. I blink a couple of times and swallow, trying to water my throat. He sees me struggling. "Need some extra saliva?" He almost laughs at me... Athena, an omega of the Blood Moon Pack, has her entire life ripped into pieces when she attacks the eldest son of the Alpha in an attempt to save her sister. She is cast out as a rogue, and a bounty is set on her head. Matters further escalate when she and her wolf gets ripped apart into two bodies. How will she survive as a rogue now, when she is nothing more than a human (if that is what she is)? Who will help them, and can they even know for sure who is with them and who is against them? Bitterness starts to flow through her, as she embarks on a journey to find other rogues like her. It is no easy task, and she has to make compromises and give up previous beliefs before she can claim the title of the Queen of the Rogues. Can she control her lust for revenge, or will the lives of all supernaturals forever be affected by her presence? Alchemy has always been a key to understanding the universe, yet it has often been dismissed as mere superstition. The truth seared through my veins like scorching heat, igniting every cell of my being with a searing, uncompromising judgment. I sacrificed everything-my strength and sense of identity-chasing after an overwhelming purpose. Duty and conviction waged a war against a primal yearning for freedom, unleashing a maelstrom of emotions that threatened to tear me apart. This internal hell fueled an insatiable, maddening lust for vengeance, obliterating my moral compass and propelling me toward utter destruction. Only when I made a final decision did the fundamental principles of morality seem to slip through my fingers like grains of sand. Each savage blow against the oppressive system left me questioning: am I a righteous crusader, or a monster consumed by hatred? The poisonous doubt gnawed at my mind, suffocating my thoughts with insidious whispers. Yet, I found the strength to silence them. With fierce determination burning in my veins, I vowed to break free from the chains of oppression or die trying. Fear would not hold me captive any longer. As I teetered on the edge of life and death, I couldn't help but wonder: would I emerge victorious or succumb to the relentless wheels of fate? The answer lies shrouded in the mists of an uncertain future, but one thing is irrefutable: win or lose, every decision will ignite an inferno of change. This cataclysmic revolution will raze the old world and herald the birth of a new era. In this cosmic roulette, even the most steadfast warriors can turn to dust in the blink of an eye. Therefore, are you willing to participate? Given that there always was, is, and will be war. Hope stands stronger than fear, yet anything is possible when darkness lingers. It is the deflection of accountability and guilt. Yet when all seems lost, trust that the butterfly knows where the water flows.
