Late one night two teenagers witness a strange light descending from the sky near their town. Then mysterious events start happening which all lead to an old abandoned mine. Someone is doing something secretively down there and are going to great efforts to make sure no one finds out what it is. But Josh and Katie don't give up, and soon find themselves in a very dangerous situation. Science Fiction/Mystery Note: I wrote this story when I was in high school. My target audience was 10 to 20 yrs, but I hope readers of any age will enjoy. It has been through two major edits since I wrote it to bring it up to a (hopefully) high standard.
