Jack and Nick are just your average young adults; school life is tough, a part time job or two, extremely gay, the casual things. Friends since Year 4 of Primary School and their friendship is still going on into early adulthood. In the context of the title; Jack is the twig, for his shortness and overall small and skinny stature, and Nick is the tree, for his tall, muscular structure. Can these two handle the pressures of adult life? Probably not, but they'll learn to eventually.
