Will They Be Able To Save The Human Race Or Will It Fall To The Z's

(Later that night)

When it's night you usually sleep in your wolf beside Tommy or keep watch when his dad's sleeping.

Tonight you were keeping watch, they both were exausted and always felt safe when they had you looking over them. Over time you and Tommy had bonded very well and his dad saw that.

*I wonder where my family is. Are they alive. Are they zombies. Are they dead. Ugh.* You thought to yourself while looking up at the night sky. You heard movement, you looked over and saw Tommy having a nightmare. You walked over to him and layed down beside him while putting your head on his chest. You felt his hand go on your head.

*Why am I so worried about him, why do I care, why do I stay here, why am I being over protective about him.* You had thought about that all night.

It was morning and everyone was waking up. You still had your head on his chest. His dad woke up and saw the two of you together and how much you cared for him. Just than Tommy started waking up and saw you on his chest, you looked over at him but stayed put he sat up and grabbed you by the neck and hugged you. It was strange but somehow you both needed it. As soon as he let go, you all got ready to leave, never liked staying in one spot long.

You stayed in your wolf around them, you had a job, you knew your job, you had to protect them at any cost and you couldn't die. You basically gave your life to them and they trust you as much as you trust them, but what they don't know is how much you need them more then they need you. As long as you kept Tommy safe you had a reason to keep moving, keep living, keep fighting.
