[Sequel to "The Ashes of Ebony"]

I've never been able to deal with death. I always tried to put up a strong face and act as if I could handle it, when in reality the very thought of death made me queasy. I don't like thinking about that one day all the people that I love are going to die someday. In the simplest terms, I'm scared of death. The thought of not knowing when death is going to sneak up on you or your family and just snatch your life away like it's nothing is almost unbearable. But even with all of those thoughts, I never imagined death could hurt this bad. Death seems to haunt everyone around me, even the ones I don't particularly like. Death is my worst fear and enemy, yet I have to face it almost everyday. Everyone is dying, and it's only a matter of time before the ones dearest to me are going to leave me forever.

'You can't just leave me and then come back a year later and assume nothing's changed!' I turned angrily to him. We were running out of Alley, I was practically running, I was so furious. 'I thought you loved me, did those ten months mean nothing to you?' He spat at me. I froze in my tracks. 'They meant everything to me!' I turned and yelled, wiping tears from my face again. *** The war is over. Edith Falconer should be relieved that she can finally come out of hiding and carry on with her life as normal. But what is normal? So much was lost during the war. Good friends have died and almost her entire family is gone, she's not quite sure where her place in the world is anymore. And now George Weasley, the one man she thought she could depend on, is nowhere to be found. At least she's able to go to Healing school, that was her dream, after all. But now, it's a distraction from reality as well. When George suddenly returns and threatens to upset the delicate balance of her life, she's forced to deal with not only her own losses, but his as well. Were the feelings that developed during their period of isolation real or was it all just a clever illusion? Will George even stay, or will being back prove to be too difficult? And will an unexpected event threaten to destroy them both? The third and final instalment of The Healer Series. It's not necessary to read the first two parts, but it will make a bit more sense if you do. All characters belong to J.K. Rowling. Lyrics belong to The Spice Girls and The Backstreet Boys.

Family Over Everything

76 parts Complete Mature

Family is the most important thing in the world until it's not. Fighting along side them until you're fighting against them. Is it truly love if we don't get to think for ourselves? Draco and Arrow Malfoy thought they had it easy. Believing everything their father told them until they saw the pain they caused around them. Brainwashed as children and then finally given the right to think for themselves. They thought they had it all respect, wealth, friends but a boy with round glasses tainted their reality. π–§·π–§·π–§·π–§·π–§· "I'll never forget that night. The night I should have fought for myself instead of given in to stay safe. I thought it was a great honor. The way my father talked about how it was an honor to be chosen to be a death eater. I thought I was making the right choice but now looking back, I was never given a choice." -Arrow Malfoy
