Asher Holzer is regarded as an oddball in his line of work. While investigating gruesome crime scenes, his coworkers put him down, labelling the genius with the mental capacity of a child. Because of this he's assigned a psychiatrist that they deem as "necessary". Samuel "Sammie" Blackwood and Asher get off to a rocky start but once dead bodies start to showing up everywhere in horrific states with no clue to a name, the two are forced closer in their relationship.
