this takes place from when Atsushi got kicked out of the orphanage and has nothing to eat and nowhere to sleep when he ended up in Yokohama struggling to survive until he met dazai and the ADA that soon takes him as part of the agency, but what he didn't know before he got kicked out and met dazai is that someone or something is following him other than telling dazai and kunikida that the "tiger" followed him, are a girl and a fox, the fox is about the size of the tiger follow him all the way to Yokohama wherever he goes, but no one knows for sure who that fox and the mysterious girl was, but Atsushi and the rest of the agent will see who that fox is and the girl that had followed him and protect him.
