As Michael and Ashton's children grew up things changed. Kody and Calum went to live in Australia. Michael and Elizabeth got married and moved into an apartment close to her college. Ashton and Kaelynn followed raising their families out of Montana.
After Elizabeth graduated they all moved into a house together.
